• International Certification of Vaccination (original and copy).
• Curriculum Vitae must be translated into Portuguese by and official translator recognised by Public Notary and legalised by the FCO and by this Consulate General.

• Medical Certificate must be issued recently by the applicant’s health care provider in which it is certified that the applicant doesn’t suffer from any infectious diseases. • Criminal record must be translated into Portuguese by and official translator, recognised by Public Notary and legalised by the FCO and by this Consulate General.
• Statement of Commitment to Abide by the Angolan Laws, with signature recognised by Public Notary and legalised by this Consulate General.
• Work contract or work contract promise made by the contracting company in Angola and verified by a Notary.
• In case where the contracting company is from the public sector then you must provide an endorsement issued by the Ministry of Public Administration, Employment and Social Security (Ministerio da Administracao Publica, Trabalho e Seguranca Social).
• In case where the contracting company is from the private sector then you must provide an endorsement issued by the Body Trusteeship (Orgao de Tutela) ruling the activity.
• Companies and private institutions must provide a Business Licence (Alvara); Diario da Republica containing the publication of the constitution of the contracting company, up-to-date and readable; Documento de Arrecadacao de Receitas up-to-date and readable.
• Letter from the contractor addressed to the Consulate General of the Republic of Angola in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Nothern Ireland, with a copy to Servico de Migracao e Estrangeiros (SME) in Luanda, requesting the work visa and stating that they will be responsible for the stay and repatriation of the applicant. The letter must include full name, nationality, date of birth, place of birth, passport number, passport expiry date and occupation of the applicant.

• The short-term business visa must be used within 72 hours from issue date.

• A letter of invitation sent by Angolan citizens must be accompanied by a copy of their Angolan id card.
• A letter of invitation sent by foreign citizens must be accompanied by a copy of their resident card or a copy of the passport’s page showing their personal information and the page showing the visa to Angola.
• A letter of invitation sent by companies must be written on the company’s letterheaded paper and must be stamped
