Documents Required
- Passport (original and copy) must be valid for at least six months, with two consecutive blank pages.
- UK residence permit (original and copy), if applicable.
- Two recent photographs (not older than 3 months) taken against a white background, photos must be taken without earrings, dreadlocks or Mohican hairstyles.
- Visa application form (original and copy), duly completed in all sections in capital letters or typed in black ink, dated and signed. Application form is in the download pack.
- International Certification of Vaccination (original and copy).
- Certificate of private investment registration which must include full identification of the investor; the procedural regime; the amount and the economic and financial features of the investment; the deadline for its implementation; the local of the investment; the headquarters and the signature of the head of the National Private Investment Agency (ANIP), authenticated with ANIP’s white seal.
- Power of attorney granted to the investor’s representative in Angola, if applicable. The signature must be recognised by Public Notary and authenticated by this Consulate General.
- Medical Certificate must be issued recently by the applicant’s health care provider in which it is certified that the applicant doesn’t suffer from any infectious diseases. The certificate must be translated into Portuguese by and official translator, recognised by Public Notary and legalised by the FCO and by this Consulate General.
- Criminal record must be translated into Portuguese by and official translator, recognised by Public Notary and legalised by the FCO and by this Consulate General.
- Statement of Commitment to Abide by the Angolan Laws, with signature recognised by Public Notary and legalised by this Consulate General.
- Original signed letter from the applicant requesting the visa, addressed to the Consulate General of the Republic of Angola in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

- The short-term business visa must be used within 72 hours from issue date.
- The letter of invitation must be properly signed and the signature must be recognised by a public notary in Angola.
- A letter of invitation sent by Angolan citizens must be accompanied by a copy of their Angolan id card.
- A letter of invitation sent by foreign citizens must be accompanied by a copy of their resident card or a copy of the passport’s page showing their personal information and the page showing the visa to Angola.
- A letter of invitation sent by companies must be written on the company’s letterheaded paper and must be stamped
